Start a habit with the Y!

Starting a workout routine can be difficult. Fortunately, the Y’s fitness program is designed to be accessible and supportive of new exercisers. If you’re finding it difficult to start and keep on a fitness regimen, the White Plains Y has the staff and programs that will help you get on the right track towards fitness.

Y Personal Fitness program (FREE WITH MEMBERSHIP)

The Y Personal Fitness Program (PFP) is 12 weeks of individual exercise designed for new and returning exercisers (16+ years of age). In this program you are paired up with a Y trainer to develop a fitness program around your abilities and goals. Your coach will support you every step of the way and work with you to develop achievable concrete fitness goals. Most importantly, the coach will show you how to work out effectively and safely. If you’re looking to start working out for the first time or if you’re looking for some additional assistance, PFP will help you create new, healthy habits that will last a lifetime. Group exercise classes (free with membership)

A great way to keep yourself active is to enroll in a Group Exercise Class. The White Plains Y offers over 60 Group Exercise classes each week, including Body Combat, Zumba, Yoga, Aquacise and more! For more information on available classes click here
